Walmart Signs On With Google Gemini

Walmart has inked a deal with Google Gemini, hoping to have its products incorporated into Gemini’s agentic AI protocols to offer shoppers a new channel to purchase. This news follows an October announcement that Walmart had also partnered with OpenAI’s ChatGPT for a similar purpose. “The transition from traditional web or app search to agent-led commerce represents the next great evolution in retail. We aren’t just watching the shift, we are driving it,” incoming Walmart CEO John Furner said (via CNBC).
