Wayfair Partners with Google on New AI-Powered Tools

Wayfair has teamed up with Google to produce Google’s Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP), an open standard which seeks to make e-commerce via agentic AI more seamless and user-friendly. “Wayfair is investing in AI‑powered discovery wherever our customers are — whether that is on our own app or across external AI platforms,” said Fiona Tan, Wayfair’s CTO (via Chain Store Age).
