David's Bridal files for Chapter 11 and makes plans to cut 9K+ jobs

David's Bridal has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and plans to lay off more than 9,000 workers as it seeks a buyer for the business. The chain's stores will remain open as it goes through bankruptcy.
