Dick's posts big sales and earnings gains

Dick's Sporting Goods reported a 19 percent increase in comparable store sales and posted adjusted earnings of $5.08 a share, compared to Wall Street's expectations of $2.72. The sporting goods retailer is expecting that its comp gains will average around 20 percent over the full fiscal year.
