Directors plead for a return to work in Market Basket standoff

While contentious negotiations with ousted CEO Arthur T. Demoulas continue, independent directors of Market Basket in a statement yesterday said, "We must end this zero-sum game and act in the best interest of our associates, our customers — and in the end, our company."
