Coca-Cola Looks to Energize KMX Sales Online

Coca-Cola is taking is taking its fight for share of the energy drink market with Red Bull directly to consumers.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Coke is selling 12- and 24-packs of its KMX energy drink on the brand’s web site (

Moderator’s Comment: What is the upside/downside of
Coca-Cola selling KMX directly to consumers through its web site?

KMX is sold by the can in stores. Online, Coke is only
selling it in multi-packs. Perhaps, this online test will demonstrate that there
is a market for multi-pack sales in stores, as well.
