The Promotion Marketing Association's (PMA) Coupon Council has announced September as National Coupon Month (http://www.couponmonth.com/pages/home.htm).
National Coupon Month, now in its fifth year, is an annual opportunity to remind consumers that they can save as much as 10-20% on grocery bills by spending as little as 20 minutes per week clipping coupons, says the PMA. A recent survey by the association found that more than half of the respondents redeemed coupons in the last year.
Moderator's Comment: Are consumers becoming more or
less responsive to couponing? What is the future for this form of promotion?
