Online Delivery Service Plans to Expand to Houston

Written by Guest contributor
Greg Norrell, president and owner of Austin-based MoreHands.com, plans to expand grocery delivery and maid services into both Dallas and Houston within a year. Mr. Norrell says that his company is the only dot-com of its kind that allows clients to schedule these services via the Internet.

"Expansion should be easier now that we have built all of the systems necessary for running this type of business," he says. "In addition, we know now that the bundling of online grocery services with maid services is profitable and greatly desired by the public." While other dot-com service concepts have fizzled out, MoreHands.com has grown revenue 300 percent every year since opening it doors in May 2000.

Mr. Norrell has contracts with apartment complexes in Austin that offer MoreHands.com's services as incentives for residents, reports the Houston Business Journal. He expects to target apartment complexes as well as individual consumers when his company moves into Houston.
