Meijer began rolling out its new proprietary credit card this week to encourage consumers to spend more with the chain, says The Detroit News.
The card, accepted only at Meijer locations, comes with no annual fee. First time users receive a one-time 10 percent discount on general merchandise purchases. They can also earn a $25 gift card for every $500 in store purchases through May 10.
