DoorDash gives drivers the option to get paid by the hour

DoorDash is shaking up its business model to give delivery drivers the option of being paid an hourly minimum wage instead of being paid by the order. The new hourly rate only applies to active delivery time and drivers are not paid for the time they wait for orders to deliver. DoorDash said it is adding the option in response to driver feedback.
