DoorDash and Magnolia Bakery Launch Exclusive New Banana Pudding Flavor
September 12, 2024
DoorDash has announced a new collaboration with Magnolia Bakery, in which the bakery’s beloved Banana Pudding has a new flavor that’s available exclusively on the delivery app.
In a press release announcement, it was revealed that the Peanut Butter with Chocolate Chunks flavor is now available. Fans of Magnolia Bakery can now indulge in the sweet delight, which consists of chocolate chunks and peanut butter swirls combined with delectable chocolate cookie pieces. The mouthwatering new flavor is so rare that Magnolia Bakery locations won’t even carry it. Millions of Americans will instead be able to order it on-demand using the DoorDash app alone.
“What excites me most about our partnership with Magnolia Bakery is how we’re enabling such a beloved, local cult-favorite brand to reach customers nationwide through our platform — offering a limited-edition, exclusive and irresistible flavor,” said Emma Stockdale, director of new verticals at DoorDash, in a statement included in the press release. “We’re thrilled to deepen our partnership with Magnolia Bakery and support their growth by bringing their iconic desserts directly to more people across the country, and we can’t wait for customers to give it a try.”
DoorDash’s Partnerships
DoorDash has always teamed up with various retailers in exciting partnerships for its customers.
Back in March, the delivery app unveiled a strengthened partnership with Sephora in addition to new partnerships with Sally Beauty and M·A·C Cosmetics. By expanding the selection of cosmetic goods available for on-demand delivery, these companies have increased convenience for customers.
Vice president of partnerships at DoorDash, Shanna Prevé, highlighted the growing trend of customers using the platform to explore a variety of retail categories. To fulfill the growing demand for convenience and variety, DoorDash wanted to make it easier for customers to interact with well-known companies like M·A·C Cosmetics and Sally Beauty.
“We see consumers ordering from retail categories more than ever before and trying out new categories earlier in their DoorDash journey,” Prevé said in a statement at the time. “As consumers have higher demand and expectations for convenience and selection, we’re thrilled to connect merchant partners, like Sally Beauty and M·A·C, with people in new ways and unlock potential additional revenue. For consumers, we remain hyper-focused on providing unparalleled speed and service to meet their everyday needs whether it’s the last-minute beauty essentials or the viral must-have new products.”
