Dunkin’ Unveils New Dunkalatte Coffee Milk Latte With Kristen Wiig

Dunkin’ has unveiled its newest coffee creation, the Dunkalatte, in a new ad campaign featuring “SNL” comedian Kristen Wiig.
In a press release announcement, it was revealed that the new beverage — which is inspired by the classic Rhode Island drink, coffee milk — “delivers a one-of-a-kind flavor experience.”
When whole milk and coffee extract are combined with Dunkin’s espresso, the result is an incredibly smooth beverage that tastes and sips like a melty milkshake.
Popular comedian and actress Kristen Wiig pitches herself as the official spokeswoman for the Dunkalatte in the latest advertising campaign, bringing her trademark humor. Her hilarious adventure to become the face of Dunkin’s newest innovation ushers in a new chapter in the company’s cinematic universe and upholds its collaboration with Artists Equity, the production company founded by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
“When we first created the Dunkalatte, we knew we had something special on our hands, but introducing coffee milk — an unfamiliar concept to most — was a challenge. Finally, we thought, a drink this delicious deserved to be named after ourselves. From that moment, we made it our mission to make everything about the Dunkalatte as ‘Dunkin’ as possible — fun, approachable and totally crave-worthy,” said Jill McVicar Nelson, chief marketing officer at Dunkin’, in a statement accompanying the press release. “With Kristen Wiig’s humor and playful energy, she was the perfect partner to help bring that vision to life and keep our guests laughing and sipping — because that’s the Dunkin’ way to latte.”
Dunkin’ Enters the ‘Fast-Food Wars’
The Dunkalatte is just the latest effort by the company to compete in the ever-growing “fast-food wars.”
Earlier this month, the coffee and doughnut chain unveiled the $6 Meal Deal, a substantial meal that is also reasonably priced. The special offer includes Hash Browns, a Medium Coffee, and a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich.
“For over 74 years, Dunkin’ has fueled America’s mornings, and this fall, the brand continues that tradition with its $6 Meal Deal,” Dunkin’ said in the announcement. “This isn’t just a meal — it’s a big deal for breakfast lovers, offering a hearty Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich, crispy Hash Browns, and a Medium Hot or Iced Coffee (14-24 ounces) for $6.”
Along with new offerings like the Almond Spice Coffee, Dunkin’ is also celebrating the return of beloved fall favorites like the Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte, Apple Cider Donut, Pumpkin Donut, Loaded Hash Browns, and Maple Sugar Seasoned Bacon Sandwich. Now available countrywide, these seasonal options are only around for a limited time.
