Economists: Stimulus Averted Catastrophe

The Great Recession would have been the Great Depression 2.0 if not for the government's stimulus program, according to the chief economist at Moody's Analytics. Economists at Goldman Sachs, IHS Global Insight, JPMorgan Chase and Macroeconomic Advisers agree the program has helped to grow the gross domestic product.
