Employers recognize the stress burden of student debt

In efforts to attract good job applicants, it's becoming more common for companies — Walmart is a good example — to offer debt-free college tuition benefits. But many employees are already saddled with seemingly insurmountable student debt when hired, and employers are beginning to recognize the detrimental affects that the stress of paying off loans is having on their workers' emotional health.
