EPA Fines Safeway $675,000

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has fined Safeway for allegedly selling unregistered household cleaning products in Hawaii and California. The EPA alleges the products made pesticidal claims regarding mold and mildew control but were not registered as pesticides.
