FDA Commissioner applying public pressure to e-cig makers

The head of the FDA, Scott Gottlieb, doesn't seem satisfied with the response from e-cigarette manufacturers to the broad restrictions on flavored tobacco products the agency put in place in November. In a tweet yesterday, the Commissioner wrote, "I'll be reaching out to CEOs to schedule new meetings. Manufacturers and management are accountable for the youth epidemic."
