FDA Not Ready to Ban Cold Meds for Young Kids

The Food and Drug Administration is not prepared to ban the sale of over-the-counter cough and cold medicines for kids six and under until it has fully reviewed the issue. The American Academy of Pediatrics has said that current OTC remedies are not effective in small children and pose health risks.
