FDA Tried to Prevent Vioxx Disclosure

U.S. Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), who heads the Senate Finance Committee, said the FDA tried to discredit its own epidemiologist, David Graham, when he found problems with Vioxx rather than "acting as a public watchdog" as it is intended to do.
