Fitbit's earnings cool along with the fitness tracker

Fitbit managed revenue slightly over analysts' estimates for the quarter, but the $279.9 million was down quite a bit from the $298.9 million in the same period last year. The company is working to build its Versa smart watch line, hoping sales will at least partially offset the decline in demand for fitness trackers in the category.
