Food manufacturers want to end laws requiring labels for GMOs

A bill that would prevent states from passing their own GMO labeling laws is making its way through Congress. The food industry, by-and-large, supports the measure, but it's not yet clear if it will pass before Vermont begins requiring labels next summer.
