Foot Locker commits $1.1B to acquire two retailers

Foot Locker announced that it has reached separate deals to acquire WSS, an athletic retailer based in Los Angeles, and Atmos, a Japanese sneaker and streetwear retailer, for a combined $1.1 billion in cash. “Both transactions reflect our commitment to our growth strategy and engaging with new and incremental consumers,” said Foot Locker CEO Richard Johnson.
