Ford buying battery packs to keep up with e-vehicle demand

George AndersonFord has agreed to buy battery packs from Contemporary Amperex Technology Company Limited in China as the automaker ramps up production of electric vehicles. The company is also increasing pack purchases from LG Energy Solution and SK On as it plans to make 600,000 e-vehicles by the end of next year.
