Win Free Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for a Year: ‘Share the Taste O’Luck’

Krispy Kreme will reward thousands of fans who “Share the Taste O’Luck” with free doughnuts for a year during St. Patrick’s Day 2025.
The bakery chain has debuted its limited line of St. Patrick’s Day doughnuts, which includes four all-new varieties. These tasty treats are currently available to all Krispy Kreme customers, according to a press release.
The four new Krispy Kreme flavors include:
- Pot of Gold Doughnut: A classic Original Glazed Doughnut coated in rich caramel-flavored icing, finished with a swirl of caramel buttercream and shimmering gold coin sprinkles.
- Over the Rainbow Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut filled with cake batter-flavored Kreme, covered in light green icing, and adorned with festive shamrock rainbow sprinkles and a rainbow sugar decoration.
- Choco-Shenanigans Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut filled with smooth white Kreme, coated in decadent chocolate icing, and drizzled with green icing, topped off with sparkling gold coin sprinkles.
- St. Patty’s Swirl Doughnut: An Original Glazed Doughnut dipped in creamy white icing, swirled with vibrant green icing, and dusted with a mix of white and gold sanding sugar for a festive finish.
“If you’re planning any holiday shenanigans — and you should — our St. Patrick’s Day Collection will make them more festive and fun,” said Dave Skena, chief growth officer for Krispy Kreme. “When you share these doughnuts, you’ll make your own luck. No leprechaun required.”
On March 17, thousands of Krispy Kreme fans will win a “Pot of Gold Pass.” This amazing opportunity allows selected customers to win free Original Glazed doughnuts for one year, at one dozen per month.
The promotion begins in April 2025 and runs through March 2026. According to Krispy Kreme, “Multiple guests will be randomly selected to win a ‘Pot of Gold Pass’ each day at every participating shop.”
Wear Green and Get a Free Krispy Kreme Doughnut for 2 Days Only
Along with Krispy Kreme’s St. Patrick’s Day promotion, the brand continues to show its love for customers. Those who celebrate by wearing green to restaurants and at the store’s drive-thru this year will receive a free doughnut.
Beginning March 15 through 17, Krispy Kreme will gift those who wear the emerald color an O’riginal Glazed Doughnut. This sweet treat is an Original Glazed doughnut colored green. No purchase is necessary.
This new promotion comes on the heels of Krispy Kreme’s financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ending December 29, 2024. The company continues to perform well, with a net revenue of $404.0 million. Krispy Kreme’s organic revenue grew 5% to $1.65 billion. However, it was adversely impacted by 70 basis points from lost revenue linked to the 2024 Crowdstrike cybersecurity incident.
“We delivered an 18th consecutive quarter of year-over-year organic sales growth. Excluding the estimated cybersecurity incident impact, results were largely in line with our expectations,” said Josh Charlesworth, Krispy Kreme CEO.
Charlesworth continued, “Last quarter, we announced we were aligning our talent and capital to our business priorities, and we have taken significant action. We have restructured our management teams to maximize profitable U.S. expansion and capital-light international growth. We expect to soon award contracts to outsource U.S. logistics. Finally, we have begun a process to evaluate refranchising certain international markets. I believe these changes will drive capital efficient growth, as we continue our transformation into a bigger and better Krispy Kreme.”
