Generative AI tech isn't cheap

Developing and maintaining generative artificial intelligence technology comes with a steep price tag. OpenAI's ChatGPT could cost the company $40 million to process all the activity coming from the millions of people using it in January alone, according to Rowan Curran at Forrester.
