Ghost kitchen moves into the mall

Westfield Valley Fair in Santa Clara, CA, has teamed with Kitchen United to enable restaurants operating inside the mall to use the ghost kitchen’s technology to expedite to-go orders and send meals to lockers located inside the shopping center for pickup or delivery. Shoppers can now order from any of the participating restaurants and have multiple orders on the same ticket, according to Kitchen United COO Joy Lai.
