Giant Food is expanding in Pennsylvania

As other retailers scale back, Giant Foods is on a roll. The chain will make a new capital investment of $114 million to scale up operations in Pennsylvania over the next year with a new fulfillment center and additional stores. The improvements are meant to shore up Giant's service in the Philadelphia market. The company also plans to remodel 35 existing stores this year and next.
