January 10, 2024
It’s that time of year — when fans of Girl Scout Cookies can get their fix of the treats celebrating over 100 years of sweet happiness. Today, Girl Scout cookies are available to purchase. Here’s how you can find them.
Proceeds from the annual sale, whose 2024 theme is “Unbox the Future,” go to help local troops that “play a vital role in powering impactful experiences throughout the year, including service projects, troop travel, and even summer camp,” according to USA Today.
Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) Chief Revenue Officer Wendy Lou said in a press release that “girls break expectations through the power of the cookie program and open a host of possibilities beyond the box.”
Each Girl Scouts council sets its own prices, ranging from $5 to $7 depending on where the person currently lives. GSUSA officials said the organization had to raise the cost of cookies due to inflation.
