Girl Scouts tells suppliers that child labor won't be tolerated

The Girl Scouts of the USA has asked palm oil vendors in Indonesia and Malaysia to investigate reports of child labor in their operations. “Child labor has no place in Girl Scout Cookie production,” the Girl Scouts announced on Twitter. “Our investment in the development of our world’s youth must not be facilitated by the under-development of some.”
