Glen Powell Launches Smash Kitchen, Available for Under $5 at Walmart

April 3, 2025

Glen Powell may be best known for his roles in “Anyone But You” and “Top Gun: Maverick” (as well as for his headline-worthy love life), but now he’s making headlines for another reason.

Per a press release, the hunky heartthrob has launched a new condiment line called Smash Kitchen.

The concept behind the line is simple: “American families, and the pantries where their meals begin, deserve better.” Too many go-to staples contain unneeded chemicals and unpronounceable words.

Upon realizing this, Glen Powell put together a group of seasoned startups who set out to address the issue by developing a line of organic, non-GMO pantry basics that deliver healthy, mouthwatering flavors without the trash. The new line is now only available at Walmart stores and Walmart.com across the country.

“Growing up around epic barbecue feasts at our family ranch in Texas, food was always an expression of love,” said Glen Powell. “Through fitness, I became more aware and educated on better-for-you foods — and I started to see just how many questionable ingredients were hiding in everyday pantry staples. It was clear we needed to make a clean condiment brand– no second-guessing, just great flavors that connect us to the moments we love. For me, that’s gathering around the table with family and friends.”

Smash Kitchen is bringing a fresh take to everyday condiments, all priced under $5. The brand is reinventing staples like ketchup, yellow mustard, mayonnaise, and BBQ sauce using high-quality, organic ingredients such as cage-free eggs, vine-ripened California tomatoes, premium organic mustard seeds, and True Source-certified honey. Alongside these classic favorites, Smash Kitchen is also launching new flavors like Organic Hot Honey Ketchup, Organic Spicy Mayonnaise, and Organic Hot Honey BBQ Sauce.

Glen Powell Is the Latest Celebrity To Get in on the Retail Game

Glenn Powell is just the latest celebrity to expand into the retail game. Last month, SkinnyPop announced that it was undergoing a brand refresh and hired “Friends” actress Jennifer Aniston to help them do so.

Aniston’s dedication to leading a healthy lifestyle has earned her widespread recognition. Thus, Aniston “embodies the ethos” of the brand, which is “highlighting a better for you lifestyle and showcasing a high-quality product that is enjoyable for many occasions, including watching awards shows,” according to Ryan Riess, VP of brand strategy and creative at Hershey, who spoke to ADWEEK.
