Grocers puts limits on meat purchases as demand rises
May 4, 2020
Giant Eagle, Kroger and Shop n Save have placed temporary limits on the amount of ground beef and other fresh meat products that customers can purchase. “It is important to note that these temporary purchase limits are not indicative of meat supply issues but are based on increased demand by some guests,” Giant Eagle said in a statement. “We work with several suppliers to provide our guests with a wide variety of options, which helps us maintain consistent product availability.”
