Grocery Manufacturers Outline Food Safety Initiatives

The Grocery Manufacturers Association said it was pleased by the federal government's plans to improve food safety in the nation and offered three initiatives the private sector will take to achieve the same goal: product recall modernization; accredited third party food safety audit certification and modernization; and implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
