Grocery sales boost Dollar General's results

Dollar General reported a 4.6 percent gain in same-store sales as the chain's customers increased purchases of groceries while cutting back on apparel and home goods. The dollar store giant has upped its sales expectations for the year while maintaining its profit outlook.
