Ground Beef Processor Issues Second Recall of 2009

Beef Packers Inc., a division of Cargill, has issued a recall of nearly 23,000 pounds of ground beef delivered to stores in Arizona and New Mexico over concerns it may contain a strain of drug-resistant salmonella. The company previously announced a recall for nearly 826,000 pounds of ground beef in August for the same strain of salmonella.
