GSI Acquisition to Help eBay Compete with Amazon

Ebay may be looking to compete more directly with Amazon.com and its acquisition of GSI Commerce should help it do just that. GSI processes online payments and handles fulfillment and customer service for nearly 200 large retail customers including Calvin Klein, Mattel and the National Football League.
