Haggen sells 36 stores in California and Nevada

While Haggen will get a reported $92 million for the stores it will sell to Smart & Final and Gelson’s, the company still has 96 stores to offload following its disastrous takeover of 146 stores from Albertsons and Safeway earlier this year.
