Haunted Fanta Collab With ‘Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice’ Drops: Here Are the Spooky Flavors

August 27, 2024

A limited edition Coca-Cola collaboration with Fanta and the upcoming film “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice” will feature some of the movie’s most iconic characters and many tasty, spooky flavors. The Coca-Cola company shared details of the collaboration on its website, including what each unique can looks like. Each beverage features one of the film’s stars and delivers spine-tingling tastes.

Michael Keaton, who plays the ghastly ghoul who arrives when you call his name, has his face on the new limited-edition Haunted Apple flavor. The site states, “Awaken your senses with spine-tingling flavors and summon your Wanta, if you dare!”

A second can features Fanta’s traditional orange flavor and stars Jenna Ortega, who plays the role of Astrid, Lydia’s 16-year-old daughter. The character struggles with her dad’s death and rejects her mom’s ghost-seeing gift. Ortega is also featured on cans of Fanta Orange Zero Sugar x Astrid.

Winona Ryder is attached to a strawberry-flavored fizzy beverage. Her tagline is, “Lydia is back and can still see ghosts! Lately, a specific spirit is haunting her, causing turmoil.”

Finally, Catherine O’Hara returns to “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice” as Delia. After a tragic loss, Delia summons her daughter Lydia to Winter River despite their strained relationship. A bit of her pineapple-flavored drink may weather the storm of their reunion.

New cast members in the long-awaited sequel include Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Arthur Conti in his feature film debut, and Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe. According to The Coca-Cola Company, Bellucci’s character Delores is featured on Fanta’s Grape flavor, Dafoe’s character Wolf Jackson is on Lemon, and Bob the Shrinker shows up on Strawberry Kiwi.

In a press release attached to the collaboration, Dana Nussbaum, executive vice president of worldwide marketing at Warner Bros. Pictures, couldn’t contain his excitement, “We are so thrilled to be bringing the wildly imaginative and ghoulishly creative ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ to theaters this September and are proud to partner with Fanta on this character’s long-awaited return to the big screen. Fanta is a brilliant collaborator and has delivered a truly inventive spin on their product with a limited-edition lineup that pairs perfectly with visionary filmmaker Tim Burton’s iconic creation.”

The press release reveals that, in addition to the new products, Fanta will continue to uncover “opportunities for unparalleled access to ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,‘ including virtual and in-person immersive experiences. The limited-edition Fanta ‘Beetlejuice’ products will grant access to a range of experiences, accessible by scanning the QR code and downloading the Coca-Cola App or arriving at the OneXP page, opening a world of activity, with further announcements on these exciting experiences due to be revealed soon.”

“Beatlejuice, Beatlejuice” arrives in theaters beginning Sept. 6, 2024.
