Home Depot Opening 11 Stores Across the United States — See If There’s a Location Near You
April 22, 2025
Home Depot has experienced a huge surge in popularity in recent months, and now, the home improvement retailer is adding 11 new locations across the country.
USA Today reports that the company is proceeding with a “bold growth strategy” for expansion, per a statement from a company spokesperson. The representative further stated that the expansion strategy will include two stores internationally, in addition to the 11 locations domestically.
“The retailer is supporting local growth and doubling down on the communities that need it most instead of scaling back,” the Home Depot spokesperson continued. “These new store openings are more than just ribbon-cuttings — they’re investments in local economies and a commitment to meeting customer demand for brick-and-mortar shopping experiences.”
Below is the list of the upcoming U.S. Home Depot locations:
- World Commerce Center, St. Augustine, Florida — 2905 International Gold Parkway, St. Augustine, Florida, 32092 (opened April 17)
- Prasada South, Arizona — Cactus Drive, Surprise, Arizona, 85388
- Anna, Texas
- Moscow, Idaho
- Manor, Texas
- Bulova, New York (expansion)
- Spokane South, Washington state
- Charlottesville, Virginia
- Caldwell, Idaho
- Mandarin, Florida
- Forney, Texas
According to the official website, the retailer has more than 2,300 locations across North America and has opened more than 20 locations nationwide since 2023.
Home Depot Had Solid Fourth-Quarter Earnings
Part of the reason Home Depot decided to expand may have been its solid fourth-quarter 2024 earnings, which resulted in a positive outlook for 2025.
According to CNBC, the company’s sales for the quarter that ended on Feb. 2 were $39.7 billion, a modest gain over analysts’ projections of $39.16 billion. Revenue increased by 14% in Q4 2024 compared to Q4 2023 ($34.79 billion). Net income increased from $2.80 billion to $3 billion year over year.
“Our fourth quarter results exceeded our expectations as we saw greater engagement in home improvement spend, despite ongoing pressure on large remodeling projects,” said CEO Ted Decker in the company’s earnings statement.
Home Depot’s same-store sales, which reflect income from sites open for at least a year, increased 0.8%. Prior to the most recent earnings release, the business had lost comparable store sales for eight straight quarters.
Customers spent an average of $89.11 per order, up around $0.24 from Q4 2023. Total client transactions increased by 8%, reaching a little over 400 million.
Online sales increased 9% over the same period in 2023. Decker attributed the increase to faster delivery of appliances and power tools.
