Hotly Anticipated Fall Menu Returns to Starbucks Stores

August 21, 2024

Starbucks is heading into sweater weather with a fall menu ready to delight its customers. For those who look forward to a hint of spice and a smattering of warmth, this is your time of year, and it’s coming sooner than you think. Even though the outdoor temperature may remain summer-like, customers can indulge in flavors that remind them of the fall inside Starbucks beginning Aug. 22.

Returning is the fan-favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte, after celebrating its 20th anniversary last year. Per the Starbucks press site, the beverage contains pumpkin, Starbucks Signature Espresso, steamed milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Customers can get their beverage hot, iced, or blended and topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices.

There’s also a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, which the company handcrafts with cold brew sweetened with vanilla syrup, pumpkin cream cold foam, and a pumpkin spice topping. For those who like a little more spice in their beverage, the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai returns after a successful introduction last year. The drink combines spiced chai notes with pumpkin cream cold foam and a pumpkin spice topping.

An Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, served hot or iced, is also returning to the menu. It combines the tastes of apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar with rich espresso poured over creamy oat milk and topped with a spiced apple drizzle. Finally, the brand offers an Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso featuring Blonde Espresso with notes of apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar, shaken together and topped with oat milk.

For those who want to try something new, Starbucks has you covered. This year, the company introduced an Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai. The new drink features warming spice flavors of chai combined with creamy oat milk and topped with nondairy apple crisp cold foam for a seasonal sip that is reminiscent of homemade apple pie often enjoyed at fall gatherings. Additionally, the Iced Caramel Apple Cream Latte and Iced Honey Apple Almondmilk Flat White can be ordered only in the Starbucks app.

Rosalyn Batingan, Starbucks’ beverage developer, says of the new flavor, “We are excited to introduce the new Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai to our customers. This beverage perfectly captures the taste and feeling of fall. We have combined creamy oatmilk with notes of cinnamon, clove and other warm baking spices from our chai tea to compliment the layered flavors of apple, cinnamon and brown sugar which are infused into the nondairy cold foam topping.”

For customers looking for a bite to eat with their fall coffee, Starbucks has brought back Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins, Baked Apple Croissants, and Pumpkin & Pepita Loafs to the bakery case. Also available while supplies last is a new Raccoon Cake Pop, which “combines vanilla cake and buttercream, dipped in chocolaty icing,” according to Starbucks.
