Howard Schultz's friends say fight with union is personal

People who know Howard Schultz say the three-time CEO of Starbucks takes unionizing activity at the chain personally because he thinks it reflects poorly on the company's image as an employer. Jeffrey Katzenberg, the former CEO of DreamWorks Animation, says that Mr. Schultz believes: "Your assets turn out the lights and walk out the door at night.”
