Subway, known for its rapid growth and sandwich-making process, is facing numerous challenges that its new owner, Roark Capital, must address. Insider reporter Nancy Luna visited four Subway stores in Southern California and offered several suggestions for improvement. These include continuing to remodel all stores, reducing store counts in areas with oversaturation, upgrading the quality of bread and tuna, and maintaining clean and well-stocked restaurants to enhance the customer experience.
