Despite IKEA’s exit from Russia, copycat stores like “Good Luck” are popping up, imitating the Swedish furniture retailer. The real IKEA has taken notice and stated that it may take action to protect its trademark. However, the growing list of copycat stores mimicking popular western chains in Russia continues to expand, as these retailers left the country due to geopolitical reasons, leaving an opportunity for local imitations to fill the void.
