Illinois legal weed sales hit $1B mark in 2020

December proved a record month for cannabis sales in Illinois, pushing the state's total to $1 billion for the year. Sales at the state's 80 dispensaries grew nearly $87 million last month, up from $75.2 million in November, according to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
