Inflation is driving more shoppers to dollar stores

Rising prices have prompted a growing number of Americans to shop at dollar stores chains. Foot traffic at Dollar General, for example, is up over 30 percent. Executives at the chain said that they saw increases begin in March 2020 and they have continued since then.
