Italy’s Food Producers Soften Stance Towards Government’s Anti-Inflation Plan

Italy's government has made progress in its efforts to combat rising prices, securing cooperation from some key producers' associations in its campaign against inflation. Industry Minister Adolfo Urso expressed satisfaction after discussions with associations representing major companies like Barilla, Granarolo, and Ferrero. While the associations will ask their member companies to individually consider joining the government's initiative to cap prices on essential goods from October to December, the final decision remains with the companies themselves.
