J.Crew first major retailer felled by COVID-19

Chinos Holdings, the parent company of J.Crew, has filed for Chapter 11 protection in a bankruptcy court in the Eastern District of Virginia. As part of its reorganization plan, Chinos Holdings will convert $1.65 billion in debt into equity for creditors, including Anchorage Capital.
