Jason and Kylie Kelce ‘Wing It’ at Wawa for New Back-to-School Promotion

Retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie have teamed with Wawa to “wing it” as they prepare their kids to return to school. The parents of three daughters know what it’s like to face busy mornings, and they have partnered with Wawa for its newest commercial, which gives a humorous glimpse into their busy home life.

The family is settling into a new normal since Jason’s NFL retirement, and they’re giving their updated family roles a humorous spin. Kylie challenged herself professionally by directing a new commercial for Wawa starring her superstar husband Jason. In the clip, he assumes the role of full-time dad by mastering simple tasks like packing lunches thanks to Wawa’s help.

Todd Miller, senior director of brand strategy for Wawa, said of the lighthearted take on the Kelce family’s life, “Our purpose is to Fulfill Lives, and when Kylie expressed interest in exploring potential career interests by helping us direct our commercial, we were happy to have her as a wing mate in the creative process!”

Miller continued, “We hope this piece brightens the days of our customers and lets everyone know that they can count on their Wawa to help them ‘wing it’ during life’s busiest times!”

In a statement to Wawa, Kylie Kelce explained, “Directing these Wawa commercials with Jason is similar to the way I manage every day with our family. I try to go in with a plan, but distractions happen, so we just take everything in stride and do our best.”

Wawa stores are located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, Alabama, and Washington, D.C. The chain has more than 1,060 locations to date.

The stores offer a large fresh food service including custom-prepared hoagies, freshly brewed coffee, hot breakfast sandwiches, hand-crafted specialty beverages, and a dinner menu consisting of burgers and pizza, soups, sides, and snacks.
