February 10, 2025
Music City native Jelly Roll is celebrating the grand opening of his new restaurant, Goodnight Nashville. Although the doors have been open since January, the eatery’s grand opening celebration takes place on Thursday, Feb. 20.
Created in partnership with Evening Entertainment Group, Jelly Roll’s Goodnight Nashville is the first celebrity eatery from a Nashville native. Jelly Roll was born and raised in Nashville’s Antioch neighborhood.
Per a press release, the musician’s newest venture is located between Second and Third Ave. S. in the former home of Trail West Boot Store. Goodnight Nashville boasts a restaurant and a lively nightlife experience. Guests can enjoy drinks and meals while watching live bands perform from an elevated stage.
Situated above the restaurant, there is a wrap-around mezzanine that offers a birds-eye view of the venue. A tattoo parlor is located up there as well.
The establishment has four floors in total. The second floor pays tribute to Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie Xo. Bunnie’s features a stage for live DJs and plush booths.
The restaurant’s third floor is named Buddy’s, in honor of Jelly Roll’s late father. It will be reserved for private events and the singer’s personal use. The top floor features an indoor-outdoor rooftop, views of Broadway, a DJ, bar fare, and Jelly Roll’s signature rotating skull chandelier.
What Food Is Served at Jelly Roll’s Goodnight Nashville Restaurant?
Jelly Roll’s Goodnight Nashville restaurant is setting the bar for the types of food available on Nashville’s iconic Broadway strip. The press release states that the food is “an elevated take on American gastropub cuisine,” curated by Executive Chef Patrick Murphy.
Sharable meals include Jelly Roll’s Family Recipe Meatballs, covered in marinara, basil ricotta, arugula, and lemon. You can also get “Wild One” Wings with a choice of Nashville, Memphis BBQ, Buffalo Caramel, Alabama White BBQ, or Broadway Dust Rubbed sauces.
Entrées include Nashville Mac N’ Cheese, with fried Nashville hot chicken, beer cheese sauce, cavatappi pasta, and herbed bread crumbs, and a double wagyu smash patty cheeseburger called the “Losers Burger.”
For dessert, Goodnight Nashville features Dad’s Key Lime Pie with vanilla whip and graham cracker crust and an Old-Fashioned Jelly Roll with lemon sponge cake, strawberry jelly, mascarpone whip, and toasted almonds. Goodnight Nashville boasts an extensive bar menu, offering everything from specialty cocktails to beer, wine, seltzers, and non-alcoholic options.
“As we set out to create EEG’s first venue in Nashville, we knew there was no better person to partner with than a true hometown hero like Jelly Roll,” said Les Corieri, co-owner of Evening Entertainment Group. “Goodnight Nashville is more than just a place to grab a drink—it’s an experience where music, culture, and hospitality meet. Nashville has always been a vibrant city of energy and creativity, and we’re excited to be part of that spirit, bringing something new to the scene.”
