Job hoppers find more money with new companies

Those who left one job for another saw their annual median pay jump 8.5 percent in July. Those who stayed with their present job saw their pay increase by 5.9 percent, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. The median percentage pay increase by job switchers in July was at a 20-year-plus high.
