KFC puts chicken-less tenders on the menu

KFC is temporarily adding plant-based Beyond Fried Chicken tenders to its menu beginning on Jan. 10. The restaurant chain and Beyond Meat have been testing a meatless option with consumers for two years. “The mission from day one was simple — make the world-famous Kentucky Fried Chicken from plants,” said Kevin Hochman, president, KFC U.S. in a news release.
