Kids' return to team sports make Dick's an earnings winner

Dick's Sporting Goods posted a 52 percent first-quarter sales gain compared to the same period in 2019 as the return of kids to team sports boosted the chain's results. Earning per share of $3.79 blew past Wall Street's expectations of $1.12 in the quarter.
